Einführung

Als Lehrbeauftragter und Rechtsanwalt kombiniert James Lau seine praktischen Erfahrungen mit dem Wissen seine Publikationen und Vorträgen. Vor der Gründung von Robinsons, Lawyers arbeitete James für renommierte grosse Kanzleien in Hong Kong und in Rechtsabteilungen verschiedener Firmen in Hong Kong. Herr Lauf leitet unsere Handels- und Gesellschaftsrechtsabteilung und ist seit Jahren darauf spezialisiert für unsere Mandanten aus verschiedensten Industrien maßgeschneiderte Lösungen zu entwerfen und aufzusetzen.

Dr. Lau ist Gründungsmitglied des Hong-Kong-Institute of Legal Translation und engagiert sich bei der Zusammenführung der englischen und chinesischen Rechtssprache.

Als Verantwortlicher für unsere Handels- und Gesellschaftsrechtsabteilung ist es für mich wichtig, dass wir die Ansprüche unserer Mandanten übertreffen und so dem Mandanten ein Maximum an Mehrwert bieten können. Wir befassen und lösen komplexe internationale Transaktionen auf lokaler, nationaler und internationaler Ebene und können durch unsere Effizienz sicherstellen, dass wir für unseren Mandanten immer erreichbar sind und die Kosten dem Anspruch des Mandanten entsprechen.

• Sunlink International Holdings Limited – Acting as Executive Director for 5 years in charge of the human resources and administration of Sunlink Group including all the subsidiaries and factories in mainland China, participated in the business planning and strategy of Global Positioning System and Intelligent Appliances, participated in acquisition and investment projects.
• Juntaiyang Software Technology (Shenzhen) Limited – Acting as statutory representative for 2 years and was in charge of the operation of the software design house, overseeing the software development and intellectual property registration.
• Hong Kong Institute of Legal Translation Limited – Building up and training a legal translation team.
